Before she died, my Mom drew out her last and final design for her ‘Texas’ series she was working on. After she died, I found the drawing on her iPad and completed the series for her. This painting, Amarillo by Morning, shows all things about her hometown. You’ve got the wind turbines, Cadillac Ranch (complete with several local businesses on the cars), The Big Texas, Route 66, an Armadillo, cotton, and of course the Monarch Butterfly.

This is a big painting 36”x48” which is larger than anything i’ve painted on before but each of the paintings for the Texas Series was that size. Because this painting is so large I’ve bumped on a shipping cost to the price, if you’re local to Amarillo and would like to pick up, I will refund the $300.

This painting is very vibrant and the pictures don’t do it justice. I’ll work on getting some better photos.
