Kids Collaboration-part 1

I was asked to teach a little painting session at a birthday party recently. My little friend Ritchie turned 3 and his friends and family all came to celebrate. We set up camp on the driveway and got a painting.

I explained what the task was: lay down areas of color with no particular way of doing it-- just make sure you cover your entire 12"x12" space.

I had fun talking to the moms and learning about them and I loved watching the kids create! That is one of my most favorite things in life.

these are some of the pieces I've completed from that adventure Excuse my unprofessional photography but many of these were created around midnight and although my art lamp says "natural light" we know it infact is nothing like the light God created known as daytime(genesis 1)

Anyway, enjoy!

I didn't have to do much to his because his colors and background was already sooo cool!

These are the most awesome birthday party favors and something each kid can keep forever!

More of these to come tomorrow-I'm excited to reveal them all!
